What is BPSS Screening?

The level of screening required for anyone working for or on behalf of a government department is known as the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard). In order to help reduce the risk of identity fraud, illegal immigration, and general national security, BPSS checks were developed.

  • Full name
  • Date of birth 
  • Last 6 months address history and the dates lived there 
  • National Insurance number 
  • Two valid ID documents (Driving License and Passport preferably) 
  • Employment history for last 3 years
